The word SPAM comes from a Monthy Python's sketch of the famous program Monthy Python's Flying Circus. This expression was repeated during more than 3 minutes, annoying the poor clients of a restaurant that wanted to order something normal. SPAM meant in fact SPiced hAM. Just have a look, it's classic.
